America's Next Top Model

So here we are on Sunday morning, taking pictures before my Dad leaves, and Kenna says to me, and I quote, " Mom, take a picture of me posing." What I say??? "Posing," she says, "like on America's Next Top Model." So I obliged. Here are Kenna's best "Top Model" looks....I think we've got our work cut out for us!

May 3rd, A big day!

It is official. Jack is now mobile...okay, semi-mobile, he's still trying to get the hang of it...He thinks he should be walking instead of crawling...too funny to watch!

Up on all fours!

OK, taking a breather...

Up again!

And away he goes!

What to do in Texas on a beautiful Saturday

As odd as this may sound, one of my favorite memories with my Dad would be when he would tie me to a chair and then I would try to get out. Then of course, I would get to tie him up....for some reason, I never was able to tie him up for more than a few seconds. So, since Dad was here this weekend, we all tied each other up.

Kenna had a blast, and although the pictures aren't showing it, I assure you that she had her turn to tie us all up as well....

Trying to get a pic of Dad, Jack and Kenna....Jack was more interested in the fact his sister was in a tree I think.

Jack wasn't interested in looking at me at all!

Arg! She's tied to a chair!

The grin says it all...she was having so much fun knowing that not one of us could tie her up and keep her there for more than a few seconds!

Kenna tried to play chess with Dad....here she is concentrating....

Science Fair

May 2nd, 2008 was the Eustace Primary Second Grade Science Fair!

The day was filled with science activities ALL DAY long, and I was lucky enough to attend a little bit of the day. The science fair was great, and the events following were awesome. The second graders all had rockets to blast off, and I was actually impressed at the height some of them achieved.
