Last night was the third grade science fair. I cannot express to you how much I detest science fairs, even when I was in school, I hated them. Kenna did very well, she took home 2nd place!!! Way to go Kenna! We celebrated by eating a dinner out, anywhere she wanted. She suggested Burger King, but I told her we could go anywhere, including real restaurants. We ended up eating at the Native New Yorker. She decided she wanted Spinach Artichoke Dip...yum!
Her project was crystals/geodes. She grew her own crystals, and her very own geode here at home. They were really cool. I was surprised at how well they turned out.
