Final day

As I was getting the car all packed up, Kasey climbed into Jacks booster seat. She thought she was something else, she really enjoyed sitting there -

Jack wanted a belt to wear with his pants, well, he calls it a seatbelt, but we didn't pack one...we found this blue string thing and used it around his pants. I was trying to get a pic of it, but he refused...(I got the pick anyway)

Mark playing with Kasey to keep her entertained.

Three little girls, sitting on a stoop

Wow these got really out of order....this is Mark attempting to lift Jacks shirt up so everyone could see the make-shift "seat belt" for Jack

Colorado Day 5

Gammy and Baba holding Kasey, I have one of them somewhere holding Jack at this same age, I'm going to have to find it and compare the two

Proof that my camera is AWESOME...I love my camera, I took this picture going 65 mph through the car window...I know, it's awesome

Jack fell asleep on the way to the River Rafting place, which was only 20 some odd miles down the road...cute little boy (when he's sleeping)

Mark took Jack into Silverton where they have an old mine. Old Hundred I think it was called. He looks really cute in his little get-up (they made every one wear one)

That night, I made chicken fajita/soft tacos....they were so yummy, and everyone agreed! Of course, you have to have the right tortillas, otherwise its just same ole same old.
I decided to let the kids make the tortillas, and not only did they do a GREAT job, they tasted great too!

Nicole and Kasey, KC would hit a certain part of the day and decided to have nothing to do with anyone BUT Nicole, if Nic got up and left, KC cried...it was really cute

The kids all wanted me to take a picture of their tortilla bubbles, then would see who could make the biggest bubble.

Jack was finished having pictures taken of him, and while he was shooing me away, Baba was getting ready to get him...funny!

We had a great time in Colorado, and lots of fun getting the family together! It may have been a a week long vacation, but it went by so fast it felt like two days!

Day 3 - Durango

Just down the street from the house we are staying in, is a ski resort that has alpine slides. Mark and I had done this on our camping trip a few years ago, and I just knew the kids would love it. Kenna was really scared at first, but ended up going twice.

This is part of the resort, with a SMALL ski run...

Walking up the hill...

Standing in line to get the tickets...

Jack found a wooden bear and thought it would be appropriate to pick his nose...

The lifts

A mountain-ous view

Kenna and I waiting

Stand on the white line, look back, grab the bar, and sit down quickly. I HATE ski lifts, with a passion, but I had to be brave for Kenna. She was SO SO SO scared....she was hanging on once we got off the ground, so hard, her knuckles were white...the longer we were up there, she loosened up a little bit.

I made it down first of course. I would slow really down, let her get ahead of me and then pass her again. We had a lot of fun~

Next to ride was Mark and Jack, Kenna got to go again too. She was really brave this time around.

This is the employee telling Jack to hold up his arms.

This is why Jack had to hold his arms up, the guy picked him up to put him on the lift chair....

up up and away!

K's turn, and she rode all by her self, so brave my little chicken

Kasey Lee

If you look carefully enough, you can see Kenna, Mark and Jack on the chair lifts.

Rest of the family waiting in line...I got pics of almost everyone getting on the chair lifts... Enjoy!

After almost everyone else had gone up, M, J and K FINALLY made it down. Jack had a lot of fun, and wanted Daddy to keep going faster.....

Jack in a dress!

Me and Kenna

It's so pretty here. Tomorrow we are supposed to be river rafting, but I have a feeling I might not have a lot of pics of that, seeing as there will be a lot of water and all....till then!
