Mark, Nic and Jack

My friend Nicci and Jack

Nick and Kenna playing Skee Ball at the local arcade

It seemed Jack was looking under his blanket at the arcade, I suppose he was bored watching us all play, so he played with his blanket.

This is my attempt at cake decorating. I thought the final product was a little sad, but Kenna just thought the world of the thing, and that's all that matters. I'll post pics of the cake after her party tomorrow.

This has to be my favorite picture I've taken in a while, Jack is just super cute staring at his Daddy and smiling. That's a happy baby!

Misc pics

The caption for this picture should read, "One millllion dollars"

Here's Bubs having a little tum tum time...

Gammy and Baba's visit

Gammy and Baba came into town for a Christmas visit this week. It was so nice to have them here while we did. We all had fun, they took the girls to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, we ate a super yummy ham, and took a drive to Tyler for some shopping!

Christmas Morning

A few weeks ago, Santa surprised us all when he just walked right into our house! Needless to say, the look on Kenna's face was priceless. She couldn't believe that Santa just walked right through the front door!

Only Kenna would think to ask for a Dictionary from Santa...

Kenna was very confused on Christmas morning when Santa brought her a Nintendo DS...she opened the box, and it was empty! We found it later, he had plugged it into the wall to charge, so she could use it right away!

Girls having fun

Kenna and Nicole kept themselves busy while they waited for Gammy and Baba to arrive. I can't believe the mess they made, just look at all that stuff!

Poor Jack

Most of you know that Jack was sick and diagnosed with RSV, and was hospitalized due to the illness. He is doing much better now, and is home, happy and back to his good ole antics!

Brrrr...it's winter!

The 11th annual Christmas in the square was in Eustace Saturday evening, where Kenna's second grade class sang five Christmas carols. Notice if you will that it's so cold outside during the festivities that the children are wearing hats...they are so cold in fact, nearly everyone wore jeans instead of shorts!

Here's a sweet little man all decked out for the festivities, short sleeves and a Santa hat!

Ooops, who turned out the lights?

This is the Christmas tree in the square, all the children make ornaments and hang them on the tree every year. Kenna's is the circle ornament about a foot over her head.

We are so country, our son is wearing John Deer! Of course, he is chilling out in a purple Bratz chair....

A picture of the view from the front porch....that's the lake, when we actually have rain.

Before we had to leave for the Christmas on the square, Kenna and I spent most of the day out side, playing and working.

Here is Kenna telling me what to do and exactly how to do it.

A cartwheel

I guess it is winter finally! It's allready December and I had to rake leaves this weekend! Thank goodness for the weather, it was a chilly 80 degrees! Before we raked the leaves in the yard, I had to take a couple pictures. They were just so pretty! Oh and yes, Kenna is too!
