Kenna's make up for Halloween night. I highly suggest clicking on the picture to blow it up to see it better - and check out those eyelids...totally awesome...I really really thought the eyeshadow stuff was so cool.

Halloween Part One
Kenna's make up is always fancy on halloween, its the only day of the year she gets to wear it. This year I bought that stuff you rub on the eyelids and it makes a design...it's totally AWESOME!!
She's supposed to have some big huge fake eyelashes on too, but they wouldn't stick to her eyes because I'd already done the eyeshadow. We will fix it for tonight tho....

Kasey is a little lion...not that she'll be doing much trick or treating, but she's gotta dress up too!
Jack as SpongeBob, or BobBob as he is called in this house!
He's still unsure of the whole trick or treating thing, but I have a feeling that by the end of the night he will be a pro!

So at noon, we went to the Main St festival they have going on, but we must have gotten there too early because there was hardly anyone set up. So, we ate lunch and are now taking naps.
We will go over to the church across the street for their trunk or treat and possibly hit a few houses...then maybe we will go back over to the Main St festival...
It will all depend on how the kids hold up...Oh, if you aren't in AZ reading this, you are probably questioning why we are trick or treating tonight instead of Halloween...our town doesn't celebrate such "holidays" on Sundays....
I'll have more pics after we get ready for tonight

Pumpkin Carving
This picture makes Jack look like he's actually helping. Truth be told - he played outside while K and I did all the work=)
Kenna working very diligently on her pumpkin
This one is "Jack's..." he actually did none of the work, but it's his nonetheless...
Kenna with her finished skull
Kasey enjoyed watching the fun...she was a really good girl waiting and waiting and waiting for us to finish!
It was hard getting a clear picture of the pumpkins lit up at night, it was dark and couldn't see the settings on the camera to get the right shutter speed...darn

Jack's 3rd Bday
Today my little boy turned three years old. When he woke up this morning, I reminded him that it was his birthday, and sang Happy Birthday to him. Now, either he doesn't like my singing, or he just doesn't like birthdays in the morning, because while I sang to him, he growled at me. (yes, he growls)
He had a tough morning. I left him here with Daddy so I could go pick up his cake, along with a few other odds and ends at Wally world for his party, and he wanted to come. (cue fit #1)
I came home in a hurry to pick up Kenna and her boyfriend so they could help me set up the party at my Gma's. When I didn't have the cake in my hands for Jack, and he met me at the door begging for it, cue fit #2.
Kenna, Matt and I went to Gma's to set everything up, wrap presents and other things, we were running a half hour behind schedule at this point. I had spent too much time alone in Wal-Mart with out kids...what a blessing that is....
Jack shows up with Daddy, walks in, everyone screams happy Bday to him and he's happy. He wants to know where his cake is....I show him the cake.....Happy Jack! Jack immediately wants to take the cars off of the cake and play with them...uh-oh....cue fit #3.....
We grilled our food, explaining to Jack that we have to eat before we have cake, as if he doesn't already know this....and he's okay with that....

Time for presents!~
Jack wanted to open this one first, because it had cars on the wrapping paper....it was a huge semi truck with cars on the inside...let me re-phrase that....it was a car carrier in the shape of a semi-truck....
a garage that Kenna put together when we got home...(she said it was a pain to put together, but she did it anyway....what a good sister)
Mark's parents got him this Handy Manny construction set. When he opened it, he said, "I saw this on TV!" He of course wanted to open it right away, but it says clearly on the box, "Over 45 pieces" and I say NO to that...it must wait til we get home
Mark and I got him a guitar....gone are the days when my sweet sweet boy used to sing a "mommy song," now he strums the guitar and sings something that I could only associate with thrash metal, which I have NEVER listened to....I fear the worst in his musical taste!
