Walt DIsney World 2010

Our trip to Disneyworld began in the airport of course. We waited for our "hairplane" to arrive....

We boarded the plane and took our seats...yes, I was the annoying tourist taking pictures on the plane....sue me

After approximately 15-20 minutes, Jack was OUT...he didn't even get a drink or snack

We got off the plane, met my dad, got to the resort, ate dinner, slept, woke up in the morning ready for our day, but had to eat breakfast first.....

Every morning we were able to eat with Minnie, Donald and Goofy.

The Magic Kingdom (it was chilly, hence the gloves, hat and coat)

Meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Mick and Minn were two of the three characters Jack would allow near him...

Jack giving Mickey a hug

We ate lunch at some sort of pioneer-ey place....it was served family syle

Jack didn't really like this Minnie, guess he likes the red dress?

Kenna and Pluto

Kenna with Chip OR Dale?

For dinner on the first night, we ate IN CINDERELLA'S Castle....it was AWESOME!!!!
Once you check in with your reservation, you go into the castle foyer and get a photo taken with Cinderella (I will have to scan and post that later), then walk up the stairs (51 of them) or in my case, take the elevator and eat in one of the large turrets of the castle. The fairy godmother came out and sang Bibbity Bobbity Boo to us/with us all in the dining room. It was really cool.

This is Kenna with two of Cinderelly's mice

Day 2 (Ithink)
Kenna with Donald

K with Goofy

Since it was close to Kenna's BDay the people at the front desk gave her a Birthday button to wear...they will give you a button for just about anything you are celebrating. Keep in mind THIS WAS AT BREAKFAST, and they brought her out a cupcake....EVERY meal she received a special desert.

Jack and Minnie

J giving Minnie a little smooch and hug

Kenna with Donald (again)

Jack DID NOT LIKE the duck

Dad and Donald

Epcot

The coolest thing at Epcot (for Jack) was the Finding Nemo ride. It was a ride, but after you get off, you find yourself inside of this huge aquarium. He really liked all the fish

He even found Nemo and Dory

One of my fondest memories from Epcot and being a kid was these "jumping" fountains....and they are still there....If only I had found the rainbow tunnel!

Princess Pictures

Belle and the Beast

Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)

Now here is something funny. Jack had up until this point, avoided ALL Disney characters, until he saw Aurora. He INSISTED on having his pic taken, and a hug of course...guess he likes blondes?

I took a picture of MY favorite ride, one that I frequented very often....the restroom

Getting tired!

Jasmine and Aladdin

Photogenic

Jack, Kenna and Snow White. After this picture was taken, he gave Snow a kiss on her hand. Where he learned this I HAVE NO CLUE....

Well, that was our Disney trip, I have more photos, but this is long enough, I'll update later!

The BIG gift video

Let me apologize in advance, I forget that when I turn my camera while using the video feature, the picture doesn't turn with it, so you have to watch it with your head cocked to one side, or flip your computer screen to it's side.

Please note the beginning of the video and the balloons popping out of the box. (thanks for the idea and execution Karen and Del)

Christmas program, Christmas and K's Bday

Here is the entire month of December in one long post...

Kenna had a Christmas program at school, and wore the tutu her Aunt KT made for her (thx KT!) It was a lovely program, and Kenna was fortunate enough to have quite a few audience members in attendence.

The next event was Christmas Eve over at Gma and pa's house. My mother started a "tradition" of sorts years ago of decorating sugar cookies, so we picked that back up again.

Jack and Daddy

Julie and Katie (hams)

Seriously Uncle Doug, could you be more enthused?!?

I love Jack's face in this photo....

Present time!

Christmas Morning

We were all awakened by a phone call at 6:10 AM. Being Christmas and all, I didn't get horribly mad at the person on the other end, especially when I had found out it was our post office with a package for Kenna. Mark went to go get the package, and the kids and I waited ever so patiently for him to return before tearing into Santa's gifts.

This is Jack's new face when you tell him to smile for the camera

There aren't any pictures of gift opening, or actual presents really, I was too busy insuring Jack wasn't going to open up Kenna's presents. He REALLY likes to unwrap presents.

BUT, Jack did get a train track and little trains to play with, and I got a pic of that!

I have NO IDEA who she is talking to on the phone, but here is Kenna with an Easy Bake oven she got from Aunt Karen

The last big event of December

Kenna's 10th Bday

Kenna had wanted a polka - dot cake, so here is the end result of my "cake decorating" skills, and I am using that term VERY loosely.

When the cats away....

The antics of Jack

This took no longer than 10 minutes for him to produce this mess....NICE
