outside

Yesterday it was absolutely beautiful outside. I let the two older ones out to play, but I went out with Kasey too. She LOVED IT. In fact, she was really, really angry when I made her come inside for a nap. Really angry.

She had fun running around (yes, she "runs" now), and playing in the dirt. Which of course, I cringe at because dirt and sand are the enemy. I HATE the outside dirt..ugh!

Kasey playing in the dirt

My beautiful Kenna

Kasey...she's so flipping cute!

Jack

And back to KC

I love this smile...I hope she doesn't lose it as she gets bigger

Kenna's new scooter. After nearly two years of begging, I FINALLY gave in...

Of course Jack had to have his picture taken with it too!

KC running around...

This last group of photos should be in reverse order. Let me explain - I wanted to get all three kids together, smiling. If your a parent of multiple little people, then you know what challenges that presents.... This is the last photo in the shot. At first, Jack was standing with the girls, (who were very cooperative) but then he wouldn't smile.

Then he ran about with me yelling at him to stand still and smile...anyway - you'll see as you scroll down.

notice that Jack is blurred a little - that's because of his running in circles, and I mean LITERALLY running in circles....

see the blurs?

I love this one - he's obviously not wanting to cooperate
This is a good one of the girls, Jack is behind the tree

Dinner time

Dinner time usually isn't this messy, but we had broccoli for our vegetable this night. KC loves her broccoli!!! Well, she at least likes to make a mess of it. She pretends to shampoo her hair with it...

This photo is a perfect shot of her teeth - two on the bottom, and two coming in on the top!!!

Bathtime Stretching and Good Habits

It's never too early to establish good habits! Kasey sees J and K brushing their teeth every night together. Once her teeth broke through I bought her a toothbrush. She loves it. When they start brushing their teeth she gets very upset if she isn't let in on the fun.

Kasey LOVE LOVE LOVES her bathtime. Now that she's gotten bigger, she knows how to get into the tub...at least she thinks she can get in...watching her try is an absolute hoot to watch!

My silly silly cat

I have an acrobatic cat that can perch on the tiniest of surfaces - he was trying to get my attention

Playing with blocks

The title is self - explanatory, Jack and KC were playing with blocks....

Refrigerator Fun

A few days ago, Kasey made it into the fridge before I could get it shut, so I let her stand there awhile and play. She didn't make any messes or throw anything out, which impressed me.

I'm sitting on the kitchen floor watching her and remembering when Jack was her age, playing in the fridge - it was one of his favorite activities. Then I remembered I had take a picture of him long, long ago of doing the same thing KC was doing.

Here are the two pictures that are alike - both KC and Jack are the same age as each other in the pics.

The first one is of Jack, and the second of KC, if you couldn't tell, and if you can't tell, then you need glasses!

Mini Cupcakes on sale

Normally I don't buy baked good from the bakery, mainly because if I want cup cakes, I will bake them myself. BUT, these cupcakes were on sale, and Jack had been REALLY good that day at the store, so I bought some.

After the kids ate ALL of their dinner, they were treated with mini cupcakes.

You can't eat anything in front of KC without sharing, so she got her very own mini cupcake. Needless to say, she really enjoyed it. She enjoyed it so much she had icing all up her nose.

Jack, Kenna and I thought it was really cute, so I started snapping pictures. The amount of jealousy in this house is astounding. The next thing I know, Jack is pulling on my shirt saying,
"I'm cute too Mommy."

I put my camera down from my face, and he's got icing on his nose as well. Kenna jumped right in, not missing a beat and put icing on her nose too...oh these kids are so funny.

Bathtime with Kasey and Jack

I took a few pictures at bathtime the other night because it looked like Kasey and Jack had both peed in the tub:

See what I mean? It totally looks like they are swimming in pee water - really gross. Jack has these little tablets that will turn the water colors....it's really fun, I have to admit - and it doesn't stain the tub or the kids!

I kept taking pictures because Kasey was being her normal adorable self -

We decided to change the water from yellow to green, and the water looked really cool before it had mixed into green.

I love these little bath tablets - they are REALLY fun. They are next to the bubble bath and they have elmo on the jar. If you have kids, GET SOME!!!!

K's Science Project

Kenna's science fair project was testing whether whitening toothpaste actually whitened your teeth. I thought it was an excellent idea, but the judges didn't think it was as great as we did - she only brought home 2nd place...

We both thought she was going to get first place. Kenna was a little bummed, but I told her to look at the bright side - at least it wasn't third or just a green participant ribbon!
