The girls standing in the snow. They sunk this far down, and still hadn't touched the actual ground. I am thankful for my mother who provided the winter wear for all these kids! Thank you mother.
I can't even begin to tell you how much fun Jack had today playing in the snow. He love love loved it....he was really upset he had to come inside.
At one point, Jack said he was cold. Mark told Jack that if he got cold, come inside, warm up and then go back out. Nicole brought Jack inside because he said he was cold. The tears in his eyes were just sad. It was true sadness. We asked him if he wanted to warm up inside or go back out, and of course he wanted to go back out. It was the most fun I think he's had outside since he was born!!! Again, thank you mother for providing the outer wear!
You can't really see how deep those drifts are by the picture....let me assure you they were deep....
The maintenance man came through with the snow blower in the morning.... as you can see, his cleared off path didn't last very long at all. The wind was blowing just right so that the snow that was accumulating was blown past the front of our building. This meant that we didn't have near the amount of snow to blow or shovel as the rest of the buildings. That being said....that's a lot of snow!!
