Naughty Jack and Adorable KC...(nothing new about either)

OK - so here's what happened....Jack was being naughty and trying to get into the flour container in the kitchen, got caught, and sent to his room. A couple of minutes go by and I went to go check on him.

I found the darling boy in the bathroom, on his stool he uses to brush his teeth, with an eye shadow brush about to touch his eye, and a container of eye shadow open.

I don't wear make up that often, but he's always watched me put it on and asked to have some too. He's always been told no, boys don't wear make up. Halloween this year was especially hard on him this year because he watched in jealousy as I gave Kenna a wonderful eye makeup job.

As soon as I saw my handsome little man in my make up my first thought was Dr. Phil and the supernanny telling me not to yell at my children. (All I do is yell anymore and I'm trying to stop)

It was REALLY hard to not yell. But I succeeded and didn't yell. I wanted to scream and laugh at the same time once I'd realized what the little imp had done....he'd not only applied eye shadow, but successfully applied mascara as well...not well mind you, but the kid pays attention....

Seriously, how do you not laugh at the cuteness of this?!?

When Daddy got home that night, he, Jack and I had a talk about Mommy's make up. It was Mommy's and not to be touched. Jack told Mark that he wanted to wear make up. (hee hee) Mark told him that boys do not wear make up and that he shouldn't be touching Mommy's things. Jack quickly replied that boys do indeed wear make up and he needed to. (hee hee)

My imagination got to running at this point watching Mark and Jack squabble over whether or not boys should or should not be wearing make up...I kept thinking of Jack Sparrow in Pirates because even after I'd taken the baby oil to his face, it looked like he still had eyeliner on.

I brought up the point to Jack that Daddy is a boy and does not wear make up. Jack's reply? He should. Ah...life is FUNNY

Kasey's wrinkled nose smile just cracks me up...I love it!

You can really see her two teeth in this shot. I think we've got more coming in because the drool has started back up. That's one thing I won't miss...bibs....

Gotta love the kids...especially little boys who think wearing make up is awesome!

Santa Clause!!

I didn't realize tonight was the night Santa was visiting Show Low. Good thing Mark called and told me there were signs pointing out of town to see Santa. We hadn't eaten dinner, and I didn't want to wait til after dinner like last year because we stood in line FOREVER to see the big man...

So we dressed in a hurry, forgetting mittens for Jack, myself and Kenna. Kasey was the only one prepared. IT WAS COLD. We get to the Bluffs, and they are providing hay rides to the area where Santa was located. Awesome I thought to myself - less walking means less pain for me!

I couldn't have been more wrong about everything. We left the house at 5 and didn't get back til 7:30. We did not get there early enough evidently. They hay ride - catastrophe. It was freezing, the cold cold wind was just awful. (I'm a scrooge) Kasey HATED it. Absolutely HATED it.

Nevertheless, we waited patiently to see Santa. I nearly gave up and went home because I had to hold Kasey the whole time we were in line and my back was hurting terribly. But we made it. (I sat in the stroller while holding KC and that helped!)

I can't for the life of me figure out why blogger insists on flipping one picture out of every post on it's side like this - it's super frustrating!

I like this picture of Jack, even though there is a booger on his face...

Kasey bundled up and sleeping

OK, he didn't smile, but at least he sat and talked to Santa - progress from last years photo!

Kasey had just woken up and really wasn't sure what was going on - she didn't smile either, but at least she didn't scream! This was my last first picture with Santa for my children...bittersweet to say the least!

Ice Cream Sundaes and a cute KC

I decided last night to let the kids have a make-your-own sundae for dessert. The results were rather humorous. While the older two made their sundaes, Kasey played on the floor and was her normal adorable self.

Jack was the funniest about making his own sundae. As you can see, they each had three or four separate bowls of different sprinkles. I thought for sure Jack would just go absolutely nuts, and dump all the sprinkles and goodies on his ice cream.

I couldn't have been more wrong. He would place a small amount of sprinkles on one part of the ice cream, then eat that bite. Then he would do it over and over again.

Kenna was predictable about her sprinkle placement. She didn't let me down. She started decorating her ice cream very meticulously.

As seen here. Once the ice cream started to melt though, she was in trouble. The next time I looked, she had a bowl of melted ice cream with about two inches of sprinkles that had sunken to the bottom of the bowl.

I have no idea why this picture uploaded sideways, but you can see how Jack just put a little sprinkles on and then ate them.

The rest of the photos are of Kasey being cute. She has some of the funniest faces, and I just love her crooked tongue (to go along with her crooked butt I suppose)

I love this picture....she's so funny....

Thanksgiving 2010

Kasey began her first Thanksgiving by looking at Black Friday ads....

Kenna was put to work helping Stevie fold and staple papers for her students....

Jack, a ham as usual

He's got huge blue eyes...I love 'em

Jack, an aspiring photographer took the next two pictures, I think he did a relatively good job!

Kasey is at that point in her life where she finds anything she can, and pulls up on it.

Gpa Bill holding a very happy Kasey up...she really prefers to stand than any other position. I have a sneaking suspicion she will be walking by Christmas...

Daddy holding KC, she was such a good girl Thanksgiving day - that is until we put her in her car seat and went home....then she realized how tired she was!

I don't know who Kenna is trying to fool. She's never been shy, especially about having her picture taken. But she decided to pretend I reckon.

Grandma Seesaw's Visit and a crooked butt

I love this picture, all three kids smiling and all three looking at the camera!!!!

Kenna's attempt at being funny

My Kasey Lee STILL has a crooked butt. I believe I've given up hope on it straightening itself out...it's really cute though!

Halloween Part Deux

Kenna's make up for Halloween night. I highly suggest clicking on the picture to blow it up to see it better - and check out those eyelids...totally awesome...I really really thought the eyeshadow stuff was so cool.

Halloween Part One

Kenna's make up is always fancy on halloween, its the only day of the year she gets to wear it. This year I bought that stuff you rub on the eyelids and it makes a design...it's totally AWESOME!!

She's supposed to have some big huge fake eyelashes on too, but they wouldn't stick to her eyes because I'd already done the eyeshadow. We will fix it for tonight tho....

Kasey is a little lion...not that she'll be doing much trick or treating, but she's gotta dress up too!

Jack as SpongeBob, or BobBob as he is called in this house!

He's still unsure of the whole trick or treating thing, but I have a feeling that by the end of the night he will be a pro!

So at noon, we went to the Main St festival they have going on, but we must have gotten there too early because there was hardly anyone set up. So, we ate lunch and are now taking naps.

We will go over to the church across the street for their trunk or treat and possibly hit a few houses...then maybe we will go back over to the Main St festival...

It will all depend on how the kids hold up...Oh, if you aren't in AZ reading this, you are probably questioning why we are trick or treating tonight instead of Halloween...our town doesn't celebrate such "holidays" on Sundays....

I'll have more pics after we get ready for tonight
