Jack's first haircut

The last picture of the curls...they really weren't as curly as they usually are, but we were starting to feel like we had a mullet clown running around the house!

A nice side view of the curls.

The whole head!

Let the cutting begin!

Oops, got a little hair in the eye!

The lady who cut his hair wanted to take a picture of his hair before she cut it because he's so cute! He's got an old man hair style, no hair on top, all hair on the bottom.

A pile of hair that fell on Daddy's leg.

I don't know who that lady is the background, but everyone was watching while he was getting his locks cut off.

Another pile of curls

Jack kept wanting to turn around and see what that lady was doing to him!

No curls, not completely done. She cleaned up the lines around the edges, but I didn't get a picture of that. I had to hold his head still while she did that, but I'm sure I'll get photos of his head later!

A Trip to the dentist!

Kenna has been complaining of a tooth hurting lately. I looked in her mouth and it was evident she had a cavity. After about thirty phone calls to local area dentists, we found out that unless she was taken to a pediatric dentist, she would be referred to one anyway in Tucson. Needless to say, that was much further than I wanted to drive. Luckily, there is one, and only one here in Show Low. We made it in for a 12pm appt. to have the tooth looked at. I was hoping to have the problem solved right then and there, but we had to make a second appointment, on Wednesday to fix the tooth. The cavity was so bad, she will be enjoying a one hour "baby" root canal. The tooth will eventually fall out, as it is a baby tooth (thank goodness) so she will be pirate like until it does fall out, with a lovely silver tooth. How exciting!

An anxious Kenna awaits the arrival of the dentist...dum dum dum....

Looking around the office. It was actually the nicest dentist office I've ever been in. It's not like the old days anymore, the x-rays are done by computer, and evidently, they don't want you to feel like you are in a dungeon anymore. Everything is open with clean lines, making you feel rather comfortable!

The hygienist placing the x-ray thing in Kenna's mouth.

Kenna holding the contraption while they take the picture. Because the x-rays are done by computer now, there is 80% less radiation, so I was able to stay with Kenna. Pretty cool, eh?

The hygienist was finished, and Kenna waited for the dentist. I asked her to smile for me, and this is what she gave me to work with!

Here, the dentist is taking a look. He was very kind and I liked him.
Kenna says he "was pretty nice."

Did you know a lot of dentists aren't using the good old fashioned laughing gas anymore? Evidently, as a dentist, if you have an assistant who is pregnant, and the baby comes out with birth defects, the dentist must pay child support. If that's not crazy!

Dancing with the Kenna!

I love my camera, I love to blog, and I especially love it when they all work together like they are supposed to. Kenna was watching the Cheetah Girls movie One World, and was dancing dancing the entire time the movie was on...here's a little clip!

Kenna wrote a song!

Kenna wrote a song -

When you left me

Ever ever time, I will be there with you but you decided to leave me in peace
with no one else except me-----

And if I cry you will come running to me
You say what's wrong
I will say
When you left me in peace
you said I don't exist anymore
to be your girlfriend in life
I really hate you now baby
I can't believe you did that to me
Oh wow, oh wow, oh yeah

She says she doesn't know who she wrote it about, she just made it up!

Now, that's talent isn't it?!?!?

Mid September Update

Jack's bathtime...clean baby!

Look at all those fun fatty rolls!

I just love his curls...they are the cutest when they are wet.

Jack seems to have a fascination with Grandma and pa's oxygen cords. It never fails...as soon as we visit, he's got one of the two of them "caught." He spent a few minutes the other day dragging Grandma around...it's really cute.

There was an arts and craft type festival the other day, I took the kids. They both got a hat. Here is Kenna wearing both hats, and the funny part; reading a real estate magazine.

Here is Jack chewing the oxygen cord.

I have no idea what Jack was going while I tried to take this picture. He was probably attacking the camara...he likes to do that.

Pic of Kenna in her new hat.

Another pic of Kenna

I like this picture of Kenna...I can't remember what she was looking at, but whatever it is, she likes it!

Jack in his new hat. It was super hard to get the kid to leave it on long enough to even get a shot off.

Jack's other new fascination, balloons...the kids can get a free one when we go to Safeway, and Jack just loves the silly things!

Kenna's reaction

I thought it only fair to inform Kenna of her presence on the blog. She couldn't believe I'd put that on there. Her first comment was, "Wow, I sing pretty good!" Her second comment was, "Now I'm feeling a little embarrassed."

Kenna's singing Debut!

Please forgive the cat tail and the cat head invasion on the video. Cat was jealous, and wanted to be photographed also. Kenna didn't know I was video taping, she thought I was taking a picture or two of her! She also has NO IDEA I put this on the blog!!!

As many of you all ready know, Kenna LOVES Hannah Montana. So here she is, in her singing debut, singing Dance.

(Please make sure your speakers are turned up to hear her rendition!)

Mom! I'm hungry!

Cheerios!

Jack has discovered that the inside of a refrigerator holds many treasures. This was the second time today he was in it. The first time, he was taking all of my Dr. Peppers out, walking around and dropping them...I'm lucky none of them exploded!

It's been a long time

So it's been absolutely forever since I've posted anything new, and I apologize. I don't have a lot to share at the moment, picture taking has been put on the back burner! Now that I've found the cord to connect the camera to the computer, I've got just a few pics to post. Hopefully, I'll get some interesting pics taken soon and get them posted as well.

Jack in his carseat...check out the hair!

A ride at the park. Jack had become more and more in love with his stroller. He doesn't care if you are pushing him in circles in the kitchen, or outside...he just loves a ride!
